Bamboo Arrows
These arrows are the closest thing to
carbon fiber for traditional shooting. Very light and durable
with self nocks and 70gr field points. The nock and fletching is
reinforced with a string wrapping. The shaft and wrapping is
sealed with a lacquer finish. Very nice premium arrows. 29" from
nock to tip.
$15 each
or
$85 for 6
(Eastern woodland Indians used a river cane that is
very similar to bamboo for their arrow shafts.)

Hickory Self Bow
I have found a source for very nice, tight
grained hickory bows. These are very typical of Eastern Woodland
Indian bows. They are lightly stained and finished to preserve the
wood. The grip is wrapped with deerskin and the strings are made
from artificial sinew. They measure 68" in length and come in 5 draw
weights. Nice smooth and quiet action.
$85
Draw weights: 30, 35, 40, 45 or 50 lbs.
(Draw weights are all measured at 28" and may vary 1-2 lbs due to
the hand made
nature of these bows. Always unstring wood bows or the wood will
take a set and loose
some
of its power.)
Extra strings $6 each |
