The horns pictured below are ones I have on hand.
All of my horns have a slightly "aged" look to them to save you the years of work to do that naturally!
**Measurements are taken along the outside curve of the horn and include the base plug.**
**Base measurements are taken at the base of the horn, not the plug.**
Double curve horns are desired as they fit close to the body. These horns are generally harder to find. Straight or single curve horns are more common and can generally fit right or left hand carry styles. Horns with a natural white to black transition in color are very rare today as they were in the 18th and 19th century. Many old horns with black tips were dyed to get that nice white to black color. Horn makers today will do the same thing. Also, many of the antique horns were given that nice yellow aged look by dyeing them with nitric acid as many makers do today. I believe this was done to make them less noticeable in the woods. A bright white horn while running in the woods looks a lot like the rear end of a white tailed deer and might get you shot at!
Leather straps with buckle adjustment are available for the horns at $20 extra.
