Extras could include patchbox, carving, inlays, engraving, silver mounts and fancy wood.
Available with a 42" to 48" swamped barrel in choice of caliber. Brass mounts, patchbox and a mid-grade maple stock are standard.

This style of rifle would be reminiscent of one coming out of the very southwest corner of Virginia circa 1770-1780. The lock and barrel are commercial parts, everything else was hand made. The patchbox is a common style to the area. This is called a captured lid patchbox. It is one piece with a separate door and hinge. I included some photos of the unfinished gun as a comparison.
