This is a very nice custom longrifle by Mike Davis of Missouri. It is new and never fired.

This rifle is stocked in a piece of nice curly maple that that is stained to a nice brown with a hand-rubbed oil finish. There is about a ¼" cast-off in the stock. All of the iron hardware is hand forged by Mike. The barrel is a Rice 44" in .45 caliber with a deep browned finish. The bore is in excellent condition. The lock is a Chamber's late Ketland and there is a touch hole liner. This is a not a run-of-the-mill mountain gun available today. With just the lock and barrel being the only store bought parts, this gun closely copies the guns made in the small custom shops of early America.

Overall it is in excellent condition. Inlets are tight and well done and it holds nicely.

Weight is 7 lbs. 15 oz.   Pull is 13 ⅝".
