This is a very nice custom longrifle by Leonard Meadows made in 1974 shortly before his death in 1976. It was built before many commercial parts were available so all of the hardware is custom made. This rifle is lightly used but in very good condition.

 This rifle is stocked in a piece of very nice black walnut that that is stained to a nice dark brown with a hand-rubbed oil finish. The buttplate, trigger guard, thimbles and lock washers are handmade in steel that has been browned. The barrel is a Bill Large 44" in .32 caliber with a deep browned finish. The bore is in excellent condition. The lock and set triggers are by Bob Roller and there is a touch hole liner. Bob Roller made some of the best locks and triggers at the time. This is a not a run-of-the-mill mountain gun available today. With just the lock and barrel being the only store bought parts, this gun closely copies the guns made in the backwoods and hollows of the deep mountain areas of early America. 

Overall it is in excellent condition. Inlets are tight and well done and it holds nicely.
